## How to Delete Your Run the 1s Account and Data
We respect your privacy and your right to delete your personal data. You have two options to request data
deletion:
### Option 1: Delete Your Account In-App
1. Open the **Run the 1s** app
2. Go to your **Profile**
3. Tap the **Settings** icon (⚙️)
4. Scroll down and tap **"Account Settings"**
5. Tap **"Delete Account"**
6. Confirm your decision
7. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
### Option 2: Email Request
If you cannot access the app or need assistance, send an email to:
**Email**: support@run1s.com
**Subject**: Account Deletion Request
**Include**: Your registered email address and/or username
We will process your request within **7 business days** and send you a confirmation email once completed.

## What Data Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- ✅ Profile information (name, username, email, avatar)
- ✅ Game history and statistics
- ✅ ELO ratings and rankings
- ✅ Court check-ins and activity feed
- ✅ Messages and conversations
- ✅ Linked social media accounts (Instagram)
- ✅ Payment information (Stripe Connect data)
- ✅ Tournament participation records
- ✅ Squad/team memberships
- ✅ Creator profile and highlights
### Data We May Retain
For legal and operational purposes, we may retain:
- ⚠️ Transaction records (required by law for 7 years)
- ⚠️ Aggregated, anonymized analytics data
- ⚠️ Fraud prevention records
- ⚠️ Legal dispute records (if applicable)

## Third-Party Data
If you connected external accounts (Instagram, Stripe), you may need to:
- **Instagram**: Revoke access by going to Instagram → Settings → Apps and Websites → Active → Run the 1s →

- **Stripe**: Contact support@run1s.com for Stripe account deletion assistance
